ciao,selkis*
oppure sarà che sarà viva...
fonti attendibili ci confermano questa tremenda notizia

Interview with Christiane Felscherinow, Bildzeitung (T-Online), November 2003
Christiane F - "I'm living for my child"
She has decided to go to the doctor, but keeps on postponing it. Next week … next month - always some prevarication. "I'm an expert when it comes to repression" Christiane admits and lights a cigarette.
She is pale, her face and body very thin. "My gallstones kept me up all freakin' night" she says in her thick Berlin accent. Christiane has changed. She looks tired. But her soft eyes have the same, melancholic expression they had 25 years ago, when she got famous. The solitary mother is now living in a middle-class neighbourhood in the north of Berlin. Houses from the 19th century, small shops and cosy cafés - this idyllic spot has been Christiane's home for almost two years. She's living on the second floor in an old building, but has no contact to the other families in the house. "They live their lives and I have enough problems of my own" is her explanation.
But she is happy to be living in a calm suburb instead of in Neukölln, where she always got in to trouble. The last time a fight with three other women. Her nose bone was crashed and her teeth wounded. "That really made me think. I didn't want my little Nico to grow up in such a violent area of the city".
Jan-Niklas, "Nico", is her pride and joy. He is seven and has just started school. "He particularly enjoys drawing and sports", the proud mother tells. "But he doesn't like to dress himself". Christiane laughs, but tries to cover her mouth with the hand. Most of her front teeth are missing. "Must go to the dentist as well…"
It's not like she doesn't have enough time for such things. Christiane F has no job and has actually never worked. " I guess I can't go on living like that either" she says and looks tired. She often goes to bed around 8 in the evening, just to wake up in time to make Nico breakfast in the morning. "I'm just living for my child", she explains. "His father is 10 years younger than me and doesn't take any responsibility at all. He's living in a world of his own and doesn't even pay alimony…"
That means Christiane has to be careful with her money. She's no longer wasting it on drugs, not even Haschisch. "No, that stuff smells awful". But what about alcohol? "Well, a little drink every now and then", she admits and sips on her plum wine.
She's proud that Nico already knows how to read. But he hasn't read her story yet. "He doesn't know anything about that, but I'll tell him when the time feels right". Is Christiane F satisfied with her life then? "Well, I think so.
At least I'm still alive…"
